Artist Statement
"One does not have to know the language of the tribals to communicate with them. When touched, their faces and smiles speak their hearts a thousand words. I was surrounded by the tribals at Niyamgiri district of Orissa, India the communicator was talking to them when suddenly I found the spontaneous innocence and captured the moment. I will never ever forget it in my life. The vibrant smile totally untouched by time. Hats off to the innocence personified even at this age."
