Artist Statement
"This impressionistic photo was in my mind for a long time. Many tries failed until one miserable, cold, windy, afternoon when the light was vibrant, the tide showed the right amount of shore and surf, and the composition of the wave spacing worked. I was alone out there on the cliff overlooking the scene. That evening I combined several exposures. In the morning I was pleased to see the result."
