About the juror
Sheila Smart is a Sydney, Australia based photographer who has exhibited her work both in Sydney and in the United States. She has been published worldwide including National Geographic Traveler Magazine and recently won the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) Traditional Portraiture International Photographer of the Year 2009 for her portrait of Cedric, an aboriginal street performer. For her monochrome work, Sheila won the Black and White Spider Awards Photographer of the Year 2005 - amateur. Sheila won the Gold Award for Traditional Portraiture International Society Photographer of the Year 2008 from the UK based SWPP/BPPA.
