Artist Statement
This image is the single most honest and expressive artwork I have ever created. It explores the darkness opposing the concept of ‘loving myself’. It explores my tendencies to constantly oppress and sabotage myself, and the pain, fear and terror I experience under my sole influence.
Fucking Myself was created from five separate images combined in Adobe Photoshop, and shot using a Nikon d300, 24mm@2.8, and a single hot light.
