Artist Statement
This image was taken during an 11-day road trip to Oregon. I visited this location the previous year, and realized that I needed to take it during low tide at sunset, as it is mostly accessible during low tide. It feels like a pristine location once you reach it, with no people or traces of them. I just waited for the sunset, and with my tripod submerged in water and sand, I just waited for the wave to crash on me and then receded.
