Artist Statement
Michael Winokur is a San Francisco based advertising and fine art
photographer who specializes in photographing real and interesting people for companies building authentic relationships with customers and communities.
In addition to his commercial work Mr. Winokur has recently finished personal projects on Beijingers, Jesus impersonators and freckled people. He is currently beginning a project documenting the African American churches of San Francisco.
