Robert Jones

Robert Jones is a San Francisco photographer whose primary interest is landscape and abstraction of landscape. He has photographed extensively in the greater Bay Area and in the Southwest.  He has studied with noted photgraphers Fred Picker, Oliver Gagliani, John Sexton, Bruce Barnbaum and Jay Dusard among others.  He has had several one and two person shows in Bay Area galleries and is affiliated with the Zone III Photographic Society.

Robert is a long time friend of the show. He has been a volunteer with the show since its beginning in 2004. We would like to thank him, not just for jurying this year's show, but also for his contribution of time, energy and talent over the years.

Sheila Smart

Sheila Smart is a Sydney, Australia based photographer who has exhibited her work both in Sydney and in the United States. She has been published worldwide including National Geographic Traveler Magazine and recently won the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) Traditional Portraiture International Photographer of the Year 2009 for her portrait of Cedric, an aboriginal street performer.  For her monochrome work, Sheila won the Black and White Spider Awards Photographer of the Year 2005 - amateur.

Mark Reid

Mark Reid is a photographic artist living in Portland, Oregon. From an early age, Mark carried a camera to record his experiences, and to share them with others. He has studied at Columbus State University, and the University of Utah. The urban environment inspires Mark's images where he creates illusions from found objects that have been discarded. Mark has exhibited in-group and solo exhibits in New Zealand, New Mexico, Turkey, North Carolina, Germany Colorado, Utah, Georgia, California, Mississippi, Connecticut, Puerto Rico, Montana, and New York.

Ed Nazarko

Ed Nazarko is a freelance photographer living in White House Station, New Jersey.  Trained in the theater, his photographs have a sense of theatricality and "staging" to go with his colorist sensibilities.

While most of his work is shot digitally, he also works with other equipment, from 35mm film to 4x5 press cameras, old large format cameras, and pinhole cameras.  He also shoots both color and black and white infrared films and sensors.

Marian Yap

Marian Yap is a painter and printmaker and has exhibited nationally and internationally.  She lives in Pacifica, California, and is president of the Coastal Arts League in Half Moon Bay.
