Artist Statement
This image was captured on the old Velvia (50 ASA), exposed for 1 second at F 45. The camera used was a 4x5 monorail and it was shot with a 210 mm lens at close range. I found this image on the Emerald Pools trail in Zion National Park in late fall of 2003 where a thin layer of water was running across the nearly horizontal sandstone creating mirror effects.
