Artist Statement
For me, Photography is all about being passionate. It is a passion about light, shape and texture, about people in a moment when time can stand still, about a special view that exists only in a split second.
This image was taken in Los Angeles in front of Walt Disney Concert Hall. I was attracted to the shiny barren tree in winter contrasting a very artificial, man made, but still a beautiful structure. The play of color and light on two distinct objects seemed so dramatic and attractive at the same time.
I used my point and shoot camera, Canon G2. This image was printed on Epson archival inkjet paper and mounted on archival rag board so to last many years.
