    Artist Statement

    Taken in Coyote Hills Park, in Fremont, California. This area is usually a wetland, where you can see birds, and take really nice walks around. After several months with no rain, the soil got all cracked, and on this day I heard the weather forecast stating it was going to start raining. I went to take this photo to somehow show the contrast of the cracked soil with the clouds announcing the rain was about to come. Within seconds of taking this photo, I had to leave because the rain finally came.
