Artist Statement
I am interested in patterns and geometric shapes in photography. On a street in downtown Melbourne, Australia, I came upon this scene early in the morning. The juxtaposition of the umbrellas, the red rails, and diagonal shapes of the nearby glass building were too much to resist. Shot with a Canon 5D camera. Archival print.
