Artist Statement
Fence was photographed early one morning along the road going up to the top of Volcan Irazu (volcano) in Costa Rica. The peak is above 10000 ft. and this spot is around 8000 ft. When I saw this scene I immediately pulled the car over and climbed one fence to get this angle. In a matter of minutes the clouds moved away revealing a clear view of the valley for miles. Shot on Fuji Velvia 35mm film, scanned and color enhanced in Photoshop.
