Artist Statement
The Star Theater is one of the buildings in the town of Locke, which was established in 1915 and is the only existing town in America built and inhabited almost exclusively by Chinese until recent years. A painter just finished his painting of the Star Theater and he was air drying it by letting it stand in front of the door of the Star Theater. I framed the painting in contrast with the old door.
I used my Nikon D70 with a f/8 opening, ASA 200.
