Artist Statement
This is a macro image of condensation on the interior side of a window at a bakery. Although the image can "pop" back and forth, the droplets are on camera's side of the glass. If you look closely, you can get a glimpse of street life on that cold winter morning in Portland.
The image was made with a Canon 5D digital camera and a Canon 100 mm macro lens. I don't keep track of exposures. As one of my favorite photographers, Edward Weston, explained in the June 1938 edition of Popular Photography, image-specific exposure data is of limited value because shooting conditions are so variable.
