Artist Statement
I took this photograph near Mendocino, Califorinia in the late afternoon. I was studying the ridges in the mud in the tidal river when I noticed a series of small clouds reflected in the water. The wind was blowing them quickly and a minute later they would all be gone. I set up my 4x5 wooden camera and focused as best I could to capture a fleeting moment. I love the how everything changes and the elemental qualities of the North Coast. |
